Flatten the box and decorate with your choice of paper and embellishments.

There are 6 sides to decorate if you choose to decoarte the top and bottom.

I attached the ribbon to the top of the box and then covered it with pattern paper

This Santa is my favorite!!! Making Snow angels, what could be cuter?

Baby Gift Item - Name Plate

Just stopping by to share a name plate that I made for a co-worker, who is pregnant.
Monkey's are very big right now. Which works for me because another co-worker is also pregnant and will get a similar name plate for her twins. They are keeping me busy at work.

I found this piece of wood at Michael's.
It is 12x24
Perfect size for a name plate to hang in the new nursery.

Christmas Wall Decor

Hey Everyone!
When I saw this image I could not help but chuckle. Now that the turkey has had his turn. Let's start the Christmas posting!!!

I have seen advent calendars before but never gotten around to making one.
I saw these Peekaboo Frames from Stampin' Up and thought it was such a cute idea for a advent calendar. I used Imaginisce Cottage Christmas Line, which made it easy as it had a 12x12 sheet of paper with the numbers on it.
The frame is from Wal-Mart. It is a 13x13 and intended to hold 4 - 4x6. I took the glass out and used chipboard to back the cardstock.

Fall Banner

Hey Everyone!

Can you believe that we are about a month away from Christmas??? This year has just flown by. I enjoy this time of year because of the cooler weather and the wonderful smells that go along with the holiday season. Today I wanted to share a banner that I made for the bugbytes Blog. This banner is currently hanging in the arch way between my living room and dining room.

Paparazzi Training

Hey Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Today I wanted to share a layout that I completed from my scrapbooking weekend trip to South Caroline.

Melissa, Daphne and myself were waiting for Teresa and Heidi to come out of the rental house. When the idea came up to get pictures of them as if they were famous and I was the paparazzi. So I hopped up on a ledge and behind a tree. Now this tree had no leaves on it (it was February) so I was no where near out of sight! The pictures of me were taken on a cell phone because I am the person who usually takes all the photos when we are together scrapping.

Making Waves

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for stoping by today.

I wanted to share a layout I completed from local trip to Cocoa Beach. I love living in FL and being so close to the beach. We are just a short hour and half drive to the ocean. This trip was with my mom, husband and nephew. Malachi (nephew) is somewhat afraid of the water. He had tubes put in his ears a few years back and he does not like it when water gets in his ears. I was trying to get him to jump the waves but that was not working. So I started picking him up and jumping over the waves. He had a blast.

I used imaginisce Splash Dance paper line. I love the little critters in this collection. I have used this collection on several other layouts and projects so I was out of a lot of stickers and die cuts. After looking at the crab on the paper and the crab from create a critter, I figured I could alter the crab from create a critter to resemble the one from the collection.

I used the sketch from the monthly challenge.  What a great sketch! I love how there are three supporting photos to help showcase the 4x6 photo.

Of course I could not just complete the one page as I am a 2 page scrapper. So I added a second page to with a 5x7 photo. I can't say it enough, I love this paper line. Everything from the creatures to the colors used.
