Stuck?! Sketches - November 1

I love working with Sketches and this month Stuck Sketches has a great sketch!

I knew this sketch was perfect for this photos of Tyler and his birthday this year.
As a 2 page scrapper, of course I had to add on to this layout.

Inspired to Scrap - Sketch Class - Sketch 1

This week I wanted to spend some time in my scrapbook room. So I joined a sketch class over at http://www.inspiredtoscrap.net/.
This is the layout from the first sketch. I loved how it turned out.

Disney on Ice

 Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to share a 2 page layout I completed for Scrapbook Challenges. It is a great site with lots of fun sketches!!!

I used Sketch 438 for the left side of my layout

and Sketch 439 for the right side of my layout

Here are the two pages together

Subway Art

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to share a subway art that I made for a co-worker. It is 16x20, so a nice size to go on the baby's wall. Now if she would just come back to work from maternity leave, I can give it to her.

I hope I was able to inspire you today! Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time!

Ronnie Eli

I'm so glad that  Got Sketch?  has continued this year.
This is the first sketch of 2013 and what a great sketch!!!

This is my 2nd nephew. I wanted to practice getting those newborn photos and I quickly realized that they are very hard to capture. :)
I was able to get a few good shots.

I love the details in his hand and feet

50s Prime Time Cafe

Hey Everyone!
I have gotten so much done the last few days. I love that I have time to get some scrapbooking done!

Using another great sketch over at Creative Scrappers

During this trip to Disney (June 9, 2011) We ate at 50's Prime Time Café.
We had a great lunch of hearty home cooking and our waiter was great!

And of course a 2 page layout!

Lipgloss Diva

Hey Everyone,
I am trying to get some of these older photos scrapbooked. I am sure everyone knows how that feels. These lovely pictures are of Melissa, who loves her lip gloss.

I used another skectch from Creative Scrappers.
Here is my take on the sketch!

And of course the 2-page layout

Until I craft again,

Explosive Eighteen

Hey Everyone,
Here is another Layout I was able to complete yesterday.

Again using a sketch from Creative Scrappers
Here is my take on the sketch!
In December 2011 I was able to attend a book signing for Janet Evanovich! I love her books!

And the 2 pages together.

Birthday 2011

Hey Everyone,
I was so glad to be able to spend time today scrapbooking with some friends. It was nice to actually be able to get some layouts done. I have been doing some many project that I forgot how fun layouts are. I also realized I am WAY behind. For anyone who knows me I am fairly up to date with my scrapbooking. Usually working on layouts from within the last year. However these pictures are from 2011, I better get on the ball.

I love the sketches over at Creative Scrappers
Here is my take on the sketch!

So in 2011 I spent a week at a scrapbooking retreat! What a great way to spend a birthday!!!

As you know I am a 2 page Layout girl, so here they are together.

What birthday would be complete without Publix Raspberry Elegance Cake!

Florida Winter

Hey Everyone!!!
Just wanted to share a small shadow box that I made.

One of my coworkers made a comment about the Lemon-aid frame that I had up at work. She said that it was the dead of winter and the frame was too summer-ish.
SO I made what I think of Florida Winters which of course includes a melted snowman!!

Until I craft again,
Lisa

Calendar

I can't believe it is already 2013!
For the past couple of years the ladies I scrapbook with have done a calendar share, this year no one seemed interested so I just made one myself. WOW, it was more work than I thought.

I got a lot of my inspiration from Out On A Limb Scrapbooking

I hope I was able to inspire you today! Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time!

Glass Block

Hey Everyone,
Check out The Bugbytes for my monthly post.

This month I wanted to share an easy project. I did a Christmas design but you can use this for a birthday party or even a nightlight for your children.

Start with a glass block. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. This is the small of the 2 they sale.

I used Armour Etch to give the glass a frosted look. I etched both sides.

Not sure if this picture does it justice but it has a nice frosted look

I then cut out my saying with vinyl. I peeled off the top layer, leaving the saying on the backing.

I use contact paper as my transfer tape to add it to the glass block.

I put small mini lights in the bottom of the glass block.

Here it is all lit up.

I tried to get a good picture with it the lights off

I hope I was able to inspire you today! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the Bugbytes
Until next time!

Cocoa Beach

This year (2012) Joe and I decided to do a staycation. We spent most of the week at home relaxing. We did an overnight trip to Cocoa Beach. It was nice to spend a full day at the beach. The hotel had a pool and hot tube that we enjoyed after dinner.

Love the sketches at Got Sketch?
