The Frame is Up

I put the frame up...All by my self this weekend.
Mom is going to help me caulk it and then we can paint it....

I made this book for my friend Toni. Her baby shower is this Sunday...

This is the first book that I made and really thought it came out really well. I have made one previous to this, but did not think it turned out well... But I love the way this one came out.

The French Doors

We have wanted to put up French Doors, since we moved in. The sounds from the living room tv travels into Joe's room. Which means that I cant watch TV in the living room and Joe watch TV in his room, with fighting over sound being too loud.

So the hall went from this.....
to this.....

The doors are up. After about 6 hours of labor, realizing that the door was bigger than the opening and having to the cut the door and frame by two inches.

We have to put the frame back up, which I am going to work on tomorrow. I will post pictures when it is all completed.

It has been a while

No matter how hard I try to scrapbook, sometimes life just gets in the way. I was able to complete two cards and a layout at Kate's crop on Saturday.


Sunday I worked on putting up french doors in the house. I will post pictures of that later.
