I have a friend who son’s First Birthday was a last weekend. I posted a few things that I made for his birthday here. These colors for the challenge fit right into the theme she had of under the sea.
I also made her a 8x8 board book.
This is the front of the book
This is the first pages of the book. It has a picture of the birthday boy and a picture of his mother and sister going through a water spray.
This paper line had super cute stamps to match. I stamped the crab in chocolate chip ink from SU and then used stickles to make him sparkle.
This is the second page of the book. It has a great fold out for extra pictures. I included the kids that attended the party. The first fold in the mini says Friends.
The next page includes the adult guest at the party.
This cute shell is from Life's a Beach
The next page is the guest page. I took a group picture (with my tripod) of all the guests. Then had the guest sign a little note to the birthday boy.
This super cute fish is from create a critter
I used Hello Kitty Font and welded it with the gypsy
Of course a first birthday party would not be complete without a cake. He was not into playing with the cake or even eating it. I love the picture on the second page. He is looking over at his daddy and I could swear he is thinking, you want me to eat THAT, as he points at the cake.
He had cupcakes that had squirt (from Finding Nemo) on the top of them. So this turtle from Life's A Beach fit well with this page.
I read this idea online about having the guest stand with the birthday boy and their gift. What a great idea!!! No need to write down what each person got the child, which makes it super easy to make Thank You Cards. So this page is all of the guests with the birthday boy and his gifts.
I used this jelly fish from Create a Critter a lot throughout this album. But he is so cute, that I just could not help it.
My friend said her favorite under the sea animal is a sea horse, so I had to add this cute guy to the end of the book. He is also from Create a Critter
This is the back cover of the book.
