Under the Sea Board Book

Hey Everyone! I am throwing my hat into My Pink Stamper Design Team Call. Her challenge was to create a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors......
Orange
Turquoise
Green
Brown

Check out your website for great ideas and more info on the DT call.
I have a friend who son’s First Birthday was a last weekend. I posted a few things that I made for his birthday here. These colors for the challenge fit right into the theme she had of under the sea.

I also made her a 8x8 board book.

This is the front of the book
This is the first pages of the book. It has a picture of the birthday boy and a picture of his mother and sister going through a water spray.
This paper line had super cute stamps to match. I stamped the crab in chocolate chip ink from SU and then used stickles to make him sparkle.

This is the second page of the book. It has a great fold out for extra pictures. I included the kids that attended the party. The first fold in the mini says Friends.

The next page includes the adult guest at the party.

This cute shell is from Life's a Beach

The next page is the guest page. I took a group picture (with my tripod) of all the guests. Then had the guest sign a little note to the birthday boy.

This super cute fish is from create a critter
I used Hello Kitty Font and welded it with the gypsy

Of course a first birthday party would not be complete without a cake. He was not into playing with the cake or even eating it. I love the picture on the second page. He is looking over at his daddy and I could swear he is thinking, you want me to eat THAT, as he points at the cake.
He had cupcakes that had squirt (from Finding Nemo) on the top of them. So this turtle from Life's A Beach fit well with this page.

I read this idea online about having the guest stand with the birthday boy and their gift. What a great idea!!! No need to write down what each person got the child, which makes it super easy to make Thank You Cards. So this page is all of the guests with the birthday boy and his gifts.

I used this jelly fish from Create a Critter a lot throughout this album. But he is so cute, that I just could not help it.
My friend said her favorite under the sea animal is a sea horse, so I had to add this cute guy to the end of the book. He is also from Create a Critter
This is the back cover of the book.

Wall Hanging

Hey Everyone,
How was your weekend? I was able to scrapbook with some great friends. We cropped in Tampa with Scrapendipity Retreats. Brenda was the hostess with the mostess. I will defiantly crop with them again.
I was able to get a lot done, which I will show you over the next couple of days.

First I want to show you a project I did for a friend who’s birthday was yesterday.

I got these frames at Michaels and covered them with Best Creation Dare to Dream Line. My friend’s favorite color is Purple, so this was perfect for her.

Disney

Living in FL I have been to Disney a bunch of times. We went as kids 3-4 times a year as my grandfather worked there. As a adult we go about once to twice a year. Last September we went to Disney for Malachi's Birthday. He has been a few times before and really seemed to enjoy his birthday. We got a few autographs from the Characters. I have a ton of pictures from past trips to Disney, so I wanted to get all of the picures on one LO. I had the pictures developed 4 pictures to a 4x6, which makes the pictures 2x3 a great size when trying to get 20 pictures on a 2 page LO.

Jaden Turned One!!!

I love the theme Christina came up with for her son's 1st birthday.
I made the toppers for the goodie bags

This is my gift bag to match the theme!
Love this sign. We wanted to bring in the Finding Nemo, since we had the squirt cupcakes. There is a part after Marlin survives the jellyfish and is found by Crush he says to Marlin "You, Mini-Man, takin' on the jellies. You've got serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome" Thus we came up with this sign.

Fun Times!!!

So this weekend I went to help my friend Christina celebrate her son's First Birthday. We had so much fun getting everything ready for the party. She saw these cupcakes on the Disney Family Website. She had Publix make the cupcakes to save time (plus who doesnt love Publix cakes)

Chocolate Chips for the eyes

All this hard work!!!

Blowing up the balloons.

The balloon floated away while we were trying to take the pictures
I'm going to blow it up like a street performer

I love spending time with Christina!!!! We always have so much fun!

Getting Wet on the S.S. Miss Daisy

I hope everyone had a great time with family and friends this past weekend for the 4th of July. I was able to spend time with my husband, sister, nephews and my mom. We also went to see Transformers in 3D on Sunday. Great Movie!!!!

Today I wanted to share a Layout that I completed of my Nephew. Last year we went to Disney for his 3rd Birthday. The last time he got in for free :(
I am glad that we spent time at Mickey's Toontown as it permanently closed in February of 2011 in order to make way for a Storybook Circus area.

This is Donald's Boat, the S.S. Miss Daisy, named after his favorite gal. It's a fun water-play area for the little ones, perfect for cooling down on hot days. Which we have a lot of in FL. The boat's afloat on a foamy ocean with lily pads that spout jumping streams and spray without warning. Young first mates and crew members can run around on the spongy ground, and venture inside to spin the Captain's Wheel, pull the ship's whistle (which causes water to spurt out the top of the boat), or clang Miss Daisy's loud boat bell.

Malachi had a blast running around the boat and getting wet.

Brothers

Hey Everyone,
Just stopping by to share a layout of my nephews. Malachi has been the baby of the family for the last 3 years. But on March 6, 2011 he became a big brother and no longer the baby of the family. It is crazy how much these two boys look nothing alike. Malachi was a chunky baby and Eli is a tiny little thing.
